It’s deer hunting season from Nov. 3 to 9, when hunters may shoot deer with rifles in Grey and Bruce county forests.
Bruce County issued an advisory this week to warn all trail users in county forests to take steps to ensure they are visible to reduce any risks.

Trail users should avoid using trails at dawn, dusk and anytime visibility is limited. Wear high visibility clothing or a hunter orange hat, vest, scarf, etc., and put something highly visible on pets. Avoid beige, brown, white, or green clothing, the release said. County bylaws require that all pets are on leash while using county forests.
