ECHL legend Cam Brown, who held multiple records when he retired from hockey, has died following a motorcycle crash. He was 56 years old.
Brown’s family announced that he died this past weekend after being involved in a wreck in Blue Ridge, Georgia.
"Cam made a profound impact on everyone blessed to know him,“ his family said in his obituary. ”His life was defined by love, compassion, loyalty, and integrity. His passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of his family, friends, and the countless lives he touched."
Cam Brown played in several hockey leagues, including the Western Hockey League, American Hockey League and International Hockey League. He also appeared in one NHL game with the Vancouver Canucks during the 1990-91 season.
