President Donald Trump’s approval rating among young American has tanked since the beginning of his presidency, a new poll by YouGov/Economist found.
Trump’s approval rating among voters aged 30 and younger currently sits at -55, with only 20% approving of his job as president and 75% disapproving.
The president’s current approval rating with the demographic is a stark decline from the beginning of his term. In February , the president’s approval rating sat at a +8, with 50% of voters under the age of 30 approving.
The shift is also a contrast to Gen Z’s voting results in the 2024 election, when Trump saw a surge in support from the demographic .
