Tuscarawas County, OH (WTRF) - Emergency crews responded to a motor home fire on Von Kaenel Drive in Dover Township at 11:38 a.m., according to the Tuscarawas County 911 Center.
When deputies and firefighters arrived, they were told someone may have been living inside the vehicle. The fire was fully involved on arrival.
Multiple departments responded, including fire units from Dover, New Philadelphia, Strasburg, Bolivar, Mineral City, and Sugarcreek. Smith Ambulance also assisted at the scene.
After the fire was brought under control, investigators discovered the remains of one person and one dog inside the burned vehicle. The Tuscarawas County Coroner’s Office took custody of the human remains.
