Police have arrested a man who allegedly jumped on the hood of a police cruiser when an officer interrupted a street takeover in Ansonia in April.

Joseph Yeager, 21, of Meriden was arrested on Wednesday on a warrant charging him with first-degree riot, conspiracy to commit first-degree riot, second-degree breach of peace and racing, according to Lt. Patrick Lynch of the Ansonia Police Department .

Lynch said it marks the fifth arrest in connection with a street takeover on April 26 on Wakelee Avenue.
