HARRISON COUNTY, Texas — An East Texas man was sentenced to 50 years in prison on Friday for aggravated sexual assault of a child and possession of child pornography.

According to a news release, Sgt. T.C. Livingston of the Harrison County Sheriff's Office received information that reported Christopher Hunter Rosenthal was spotted in an inappropriate Snapchat video involving a child.

At the same time, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) provided a tip that said Rosenthal was also in possession of child pornography.

"Sgt. Livingston diligently worked the case by interviewing witnesses, corroborating evidence and preserving records," a news release stated.
