LOS ANGELES — Asked Wednesday how he felt about being traded from the moribund Tennessee Titans to the competing Rams , cornerback Roger McCreary playfully pointed his index fingers at the reporter.
“Yes,” he said. “Excited.”
McCreary had been told that a trade was likely coming as the Titans played out the string on the final season of his rookie contract. He just didn’t know where he might be headed.
So when told Wednesday it would be the Rams (5-2), he already had a good idea of the type of unit he was joining after playing against the team in Week 2.
“They play tough. They were having fun beating us and stuff,” McCreary said. “I seen it in person and now, still having fun. Guys joke, time to get serious, you can tell that they trust and have fun with each other.”
