On October 25, 2025, at approximately 9:47 p.m., officers with the Teague Police Department responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 400 block of Cox Avenue.
The caller advised that an unknown individual had entered their residence without permission and then fled the scene. Officers arrived and quickly located the suspect nearby. Following an investigation, the individual was identified as Kelsie Marie Bugg.
Ms. Bugg was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass of Habitation, a Class A Misdemeanor, after the responding officer concluded the investigation. She was transported and booked into Freestone County Jail.
