GREENSBORO, N.C. (WGHP) -- Six years in, Creative Greensboro says its commitment to supporting local artists and highlighting their work is creating a multitude of benefits.
The city’s arts team brings opportunities to artists, programming to the public and generates millions in tax revenue and economic activity.
Jocquelyn Boone is the chief creative economy officer at Creative Greensboro, and she says the programs are growing day by day and over the years.
“Artists are the lifeblood of a city. The cultural economy of Greensboro is so strong. It feels amazing. We love to support our own, and we love watching and supporting the creative economy of Greensboro,” Boone said.
