Midview High School’s drama department will stage a fall production of “The Diary of Anne Frank,” a dramatization of “Anne Frank: The Diary of a Young Girl,” from Nov. 7 to Nov. 9 in the Kubuski Gymnasium at 38199 Capel Road in Grafton.

Directed by Marci Saxon, assisted by D. Justin Bilewicz III, the production will tell the story of Anne, a Jewish teenager who goes into hiding in an attic with seven others during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands over the course of two years.

“Doing a show like this changes you a lot because of the history of it,” senior Julianne Myers, who plays Anne Frank, said in a news release. “Every show I’ve done before wasn’t based on a true story.
