Police have issued a dispersal order for a Manchester area in a bid to crackdown on anti-social behaviour this weekend.

The Section 35 order is in place across Abbey Hey and Gorton.

It is in force from 6.15pm on Friday, October 31, until 6.51pm on Sunday, November 2.

A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "A Section 35 dispersal order has been authorised across Abbey Hey and Gorton this weekend, as officers utilise powers to crack down on anti-social behaviour

"There will be an increase in police presence in and around the area with the order running from 6:15pm today and will last until 6:15pm on 02/11/25

"If you have any concerns, please approach our officers, they are there to keep you safe."
