Ang Dawn is taking reduce, reuse and recycle to another level.

The owner of PurPour Refillery and Boutique in St. Marys recently opened the Water Street business to reduce single-use plastics and provide refills of environmentally safe household and personal care products.

“I think a lot of people will leave here thinking because there is so much stuff you can refill, they’ll go home and look (at) what they can bring back,” she said.

Having dealt with her own hormonal challenges that prevented her from having children, the 39-year-old started looking for a holistic solution.

Dawn first started using refilleries while living out west, but there was one problem – they were usually small and didn’t offer much variety.
