A man has been arrested after he allegedly tried to choke a homeowner during a home invasion in Windsor Locks on Friday.
The Windsor Locks Police Department said they responded to a home on Heather Lane around 8:15 a.m.

Officers received a report of a man trying to force entry into a home. He was able to get in, and a fight took place between him and the homeowner, according to police.
Authorities said the man tried to choke the homeowner, who was eventually able to get the invader out of the house. But he came back.
Police said the man once again tried to get into the home by kicking the front door. When he heard police sirens, he took off.
