With uncertainty about what's next, millions of Americans are getting ready to start another month and may not have the benefits they need to buy food.

Breanna Martin says the Camden Food Distribution has become a lifeline for her, especially now, since the SNAP benefits she relies on to feed her family are hanging in the balance.

"I knew that was a way to feed my children," Martin said. "Now, it's just like, what am I going to do?"

With her October allotment spent, she is worried about not getting her November benefits in full because of the government shutdown.

And she's not alone.
