New Haven voters are days away from deciding who will serve as the next mayor in the 2025 general elections.
Incumbent Democratic candidate Justin Elicker will face Republican opponent Steve Orosco.

This is the third time Elicker is running for the position; he was first elected in 2020 and again in 2023.
If re-elected for a third term, Elicker said he will continue to build on the progress the city has made so far under his leadership.
"We have in the past five years brought online 5,200 new or renovated units and 2,000 of those are affordable and we have 6,000 more in the pipeline,” Elicker said.
