Even Chicago's smallest trick-or-treaters are dressing up for Halloween this year.

From a 2-pound gymnast to the cutest Starbucks barista you've ever seen, it was career day on the fifth floor of the Loyola University Medical Center Friday.

"We go all out. All the nurses love it. It's a tradition every year," said neonatal ICU nurse Kaitlyn Cicenas.

She, along with the other nurses, picked this year's theme and helped design the costumes, including a baby Steve Irwin for 4-pound James, who Cicenas helped deliver.

Sixteen preemies on the floor continue to receive around-the-clock love and care. And for Halloween, they also got a little outfit change.
