Syracuse, N.Y. — Syracuse will have starting center Austin Collins and leading tackler Gary Bryant III available to play against North Carolina, according to the updated ACC availability report released Friday night before the game.
Collins, a transfer from Louisville, missed last week’s loss at No. 8 Georgia Tech after injuring himself on the first play of Syracuse’s loss to Pittsburgh.
Redshirt sophomore Joshua Miller replaced him in that game and started for Syracuse against the Yellow Jackets. However, Miller will miss Friday’s game against North Carolina.
Syracuse had Collins listed as questionable Wednesday and has now made him available to play, potentially avoiding having to play a third-string center.
