The Bellevue Police Department is investigating a burglary attempt of the drive-thru ATM machine at Fidelity Bank in Bellevue.
According to Police Chief Bud Schroeder, law enforcement officers received a report of possible theft or vandalism involving the ATM machine to the north side of the bank at about 4 a.m. Friday, Oct. 31.
When officers arrived, they discovered that not only had the ATM machine been seriously damaged and dislocated, but there was also an unoccupied vehicle nearby, which had been reported stolen from a Springbrook residence several hours earlier.
The Bellevue Police Department is asking local residents or businesses in the area who may have witnessed anything suspicious, or who have surveillance video to contact them at 563-872-4545.
