Sean “Diddy” Combs has started a prison term at Fort Dix FCI in South Jersey.

The 55-year-old entertainer, sentenced Oct. 3 to a five-year term for sex crimes, has a release date of May 8, 2028, according to the U.S. Board of Prisons.

A defense attorney had asked Combs' sentencing judge to "strongly recommend" his assignment to the South Jersey base.
