The husband-and-wife leaders of one of the most popular and enduring alternative bands are calling it quits with their marriage.

Win Butler and Régine Chassagne of art-rockers Arcade Fire made the announcement on the group’s Instagram page, the New York Post reported.

“After a long and loving marriage, Win & Régine have decided to separate,” the statement said. “They continue to love, admire and support each other as they co-parent their son.”

The statement continued, “Their work in Haiti with KANPE continues and their bond as creative soulmates will endure, as will Arcade Fire. The band sends their love and look forward to seeing you all on tour soon.”

Butler and Chassagne were wed in 2003. Their son was born in 2013.
