(FOX40.COM) — A former El Dorado Hills district official was indicted on several felony and misdemeanor charges, including some related to having a conflict of interest while making a government decision.
According to the DA's office, former General Manager Kevin Loewen was indicted on two felony perjury counts, one felony count of participating in a government contract while having a financial interest, and three misdemeanor counts of participating in a government decision while having a conflict of interest.
The DA's office did not go into much detail about the charges, but the grand jury indictment comes more than a year and a half after the release of a third-party report commissioned by the El Dorado Hills Community Services District. The third party found that a conflict of interes
