Operating a vehicle under the influence, endangering children: Holland Road

A Brook Park woman 33, was arrested at about 9:30 p.m. Oct. 18 for driving while drunk with three children in her vehicle.

Police saw the woman’s Ford F-350 stopped on eastbound Holland just east of Eastland Road. The driver’s-side door was open. The woman was searching for something in the driver’s area.

Police stopped and asked the woman what was happening. She said she had to stop because she had misplaced her phone.

The pickup truck smelled like alcohol. The woman’s eyes were bloodshot and glassy and her speech was slurred.

A 64-year-old woman was in the front passenger seat and three children – 13, 2 and 1 – were in the backseat.
