EUGENE, Ore-- As Churchill football gears up for another postseason run, one player has been guiding the Lancers to success week-in and week-out with his play on the field.

His name is Lukas Babbitt. In his final season at Churchill the star running back has been lighting defenses up with quick and decisive moves on the ground. Through eight games this season, Babbitt leads all 5A running backs in two major categories. Total yards and rushing touchdowns.

So far this season, Babbitt has 1,336 yards on the ground along with 20 touchdowns. If you do the math that's 167 yards and 2.5 touchdowns per game.
