COLUMBIA, SC (WOLO)–SNAP benefits are set to end due to the Federal Government shutdown. A new campaign in South Carolina has been launched to help those in need. Governor Henry McMaster has opened the “One SC Fund” which is a charitable campaign that helps fund local food banks. It is administered by the Central Carolina Community Foundation. Leaders say financial donations made to the fund will help provide emergency assistance to over 900 food banks and feeding partners statewide.
