A dog attacked a 12-year-old girl in Prince George’s County, and witnesses told News4 it wasn’t the first time the dog attacked someone in the neighborhood.

The German shepherd latched onto the girl Thursday afternoon along Brolass Road in Clinton, Maryland, Prince George’s County Animal Services said.

“He bit the hell out of her arm and her back,” a neighbor told News4. “But, I mean, he would not leave her alone. And the other two girls were terrified.”

Another child tried to pull the victim away from the dog.

“It was the worst thing I’ve ever seen in my life,” the neighbor said. “I mean, that dog tried to kill that girl.”
