MILWAUKEE -- Bucks guard Kevin Porter Jr. has been out of action since spraining his ankle in the season opener, and it looks like he'll be out for even longer than initially expected.
Porter suffered a right meniscus injury during training Thursday, the Bucks announced. He will need a minor orthopedic procedure that will keep him on the sidelines for about four weeks.
The Bucks have picked up the slack in Porter's absence, starting the season at 4-1. That run has been powered by strong performances from unsung heroes like Ryan Rollins, who scored 32 points in Thursday's win over the Golden State Warriors.
Up next for the Bucks is a home contest against the Sacramento Kings. That game tips off at 4 p.m. on Saturday.
