The healing process is finally starting to begin in tonight’s new episode of Fire Country . A few are handling it better than others, but one thing I believe to be true is that they’re going to get through this only if they start to trust one another.

Jake holds on to the fact that he heard that Brett Richards has been asking around for firehouse openings just in case he has to dismiss members of Station 42. I mean it’s great that he’s sharing this with Bode now, but he’s been holding on to it for about a week. That doesn’t sound like a long time, but according to Brett’s timeline he’s giving Station 42 two weeks to get their act together. As he’s saying this, Bode notices that Jake has Vince’s axe. This sets Bode off and Jake simply says his father left it to him according to the will.
