A South Florida food truck owner is trying to figure out how to move forward after she says someone stole her generator. Gas station surveillance cameras caught the alleged thief in the act.

Katherine Hernandez, the owner of Pineapple Express Bar, has served Miami's West Little River community for the last 10 years and has set up shop at a gas station for the last three.

“It's taken care of me and my family this entire time, so it's everything,” Hernandez said.

She said she's never had any problems until last Friday. Hernandez went to sit in her truck for a few moments, and when she went back to her food truck, she realized there was no power. Then she noticed her generator was gone.

She went inside the gas station to check the surveillance cameras, and her worst nightmare came true.
