Behind another Yoshinobu Yamamoto gem and a crazy ending, the Dodgers beat the Blue Jays, 3-1, on Friday night and push the World Series to a Game 7 on Saturday.
The Blue Jays, who put two on and nobody out in the bottom of the ninth inning, failed to score after the Dodgers turned a wild, game-ending double play.
No. 9 hitter Andres Gimenez hit a hard liner to left, but Enrique Hernandez made the catch and threw back to second to double off Addison Barger for the final out.
Yamamoto held Toronto to one run over six innings, striking out six.
