Canyon Crest Academy has become one of the top girls’ tennis programs in San Diego County. Dating back to 2018, the Ravens have made seven consecutive CIF San Diego Section Open Division championship appearances.

And on Friday night, in a rematch of the 2024 Open Division championship game, Canyon Crestcruised to an 11-7 victory over Del Norte, securing the program’s fourth Open Division title in the last five seasons.

“This is a resilient group,” said Canyon Crest coach Kevin Brown, “We’ve played some of the top teams in the country, and they’ll play anybody. There is no fear, and really no kind of nerves. The sustaining of the success just comes down to how steady the players that they are.”
