Ohio must protect affordable medications for patients

Every day, community health centers like My Community Health Center here in Canton serve on the front lines of health care for our community members.

As of last year’s statistics, our health center has cared for over 10,000 patients each year, many of whom would otherwise go without access to affordable medical, behavioral health, and pharmacy services. But without action from our state leaders, this care, and the health of our communities, is at risk.

That is why we strongly support House Bill 276 and Senate Bill 198 , which aim to protect patient access to affordable medications through the federal 340B Drug Pricing Program. These bills are not just policy proposals. These are lifelines for the patients we serve.
