SIOUX FALLS, S.D. — After winning the first set, the Bemidji State volleyball team struggled to win another on Friday night against Sioux Falls.
The Beavers beat the Cougars (14-9, 9-6 NSIC) 26-24 in the first frame. USF won the next three sets 25-15, 25-21 and 25-12.
Ava Athman had a BSU-high 14 kills, while Neveah Carlson had 11. Athman and Ava Boelter had 10 assists to pace Bemidji State (7-16, 4-11 NSIC). Madison Tripp recorded 32 assists.
