Elon Musk's SpaceX has submitted a new proposal to NASA for a ‘simplified’ moon mission plan, aiming to accelerate the return of astronauts to the lunar surface while enhancing crew safety. This development comes after NASA Administrator and Secretary of Transportation Sean Duffy expressed concerns over SpaceX's progress on the Starship lunar lander, potentially opening the contract to competitors like Blue Origin.
