Top-seeded Camden, No. 20 in the NJ.com Top 20, showed why it is the team to beat in the playoffs as it defeated eighth-seeded Voorhees 53-0 in the NJSIAA/Xfinity Central Jersey, Group 2 quarterfinals in Camden.
Camden quarterback Ahmad Jones rolled in this one as he went 15-for-19 for 340 yards and five touchdowns.
Ah’Zeir Pagan led Camden (7-2) receiving with four catches for 129 yards and two touchdowns. Ibn Muhammad had two catches for 84 yards and one score.
Christian Braxton recorded nine carries for 68 yards and one touchdown.
The Panthers won their third straight game and five of their last six.
Camden will face the winner of fourth-seeded Manasquan/fifth-seeded Johnson in the semifinals next Friday.
Voorhees fell to 8-2.
