Sia’s estranged husband has been denied custody of their son after claiming the pop star was struggling with substance abuse issues.

Daniel Bernad had filed an emergency order earlier this week to request he take on sole care of 19-month-old Somersault Wonder, otherwise known as Summi, according to PEOPLE .

In court documents obtained by the publication, Bernard, who Sia filed for divorce from in March, claimed the Australian pop sensation was “an unfit and unreliable parent struggling with substance abuse and addiction.”

He alleged the 49-year-old did not take on a “primary caregiving role” and that she “delegated nearly all child-rearing responsibilities to a revolving team of nannies while she maintained control from a distance”.
