University of Mount Union’s Ralph and Mary Regula Center delivered more than 3,000 pounds of food on Oct. 29 to Alliance Community Pantry.

The gift is part of an annual effort coordinated by Abby Honaker Schroeder, the center’s director. Mount Union’s clubs and organizations are assigned neighborhoods around campus, and leave door hangers at homes a few days before trick-or-treat night to let them know about the food collection.

This was the 16 th consecutive year for the event, which started in 2010 when Alliance Community Pantry opened.

The donation leader this year was Alpha Phi Omega with 814 pounds of food, followed by Alpha Delta Pi with 646 pounds.
