YouTube, owned by California tech giant Google, announced on Oct. 30 that Disney had pulled its channels from the YouTube TV platform after the companies failed to reach a new contract agreement.

The Burbank-based Disney failed to reach a contractual agreement with San Bruno-based YouTube, saying in a social media post on Oct. 30, "Despite our best efforts, we have not been able to reach a fair deal, and starting today, Disney programming will not be available on YouTube TV."
