A Tennessee man is behind bars over a shooting linked to an argument over mechanic work and money, Volunteer State police say.

Tavares Sheeks, 37, stands accused of one count each of attempted murder in the second degree, employing a firearm during a dangerous felony, and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon, according to the Memphis Police Department.

The underlying incident occurred on Sept. 21, when shots rang out at a house on Cloverdale Drive in the Castalia Heights neighborhood.
