Félix Auger-Aliassime’s late-season resurgence shows no sign of slowing down.
The Montrealer advanced to the final of the Paris Masters on Saturday after defeating Kazakhstan’s Alexander Bublik in straight sets, 7-6 (7-3), 6-4.
The 25-year-old, ranked 10th in the world, will play for his first Masters 1000 title on Sunday against either world No. 2 Jannik Sinner of Italy or world No. 3 Alexander Zverev of Germany. It will be his second appearance in a Masters 1000 final, following his run in Madrid last year.
Auger-Aliassime faced both players earlier this season during his run to the U.S. Open semifinals. He defeated Zverev, but lost to Sinner.
