The Maple Leafs were ready to greet a couple of familiar faces in the lineup Saturday night in Philadelphia.

On its side, Toronto welcomes back centre Scott Laughton, who was able to accelerate his comeback from a pre-season shot block foot injury in time to meet his former team in his previous home for the first time. Laughton was acquired from the Flyers at the last trade deadline for a package that included a first-round pick in 2027 and forward Nikita Grebenkin, who was to be on Philly’s list for the game.
