The Pittsburgh Steelers have called the Las Vegas Raiders about trading for star wide receiver Jakobi Meyers , the Athletic’s Dianna Russini reports. Yet, the team is not interested at the high price that Meyers is reportedly commanding on the market.
They want at least a day two pick, and the Raiders are reportedly completely content holding onto Meyers if they do not get what they seek.
The Steelers, along with the Bills and Broncos, are in the market for Meyers, whose cost would seem to be at least for a third-round pick, which is what the Raiders would likely get for him in a compensatory pick if he walked in free agency. Meyers is a free agent after the season.
