Two pedestrians were killed on Irish roads yesterday after being struck by vehicles in two separate collisions.
A man, aged in his 30s, has died after he was struck by a bus on the motorway in Co Kildare.
The collision, involving a bus and a pedestrian, happened at approximately 3.30pm between junctions 8 and 7 eastbound on the N7 motorway in Kill on Saturday afternoon.
A male pedestrian was seriously injured in the incident and was taken to Tallaght University Hospital for treatment.
He died yesterday evening as a result of the collision. A post-mortem will now take place in due course, a Garda spokesperson said.
