A passenger on the Huntingdon train initially thought he was the victim of a Halloween prank when a mass stabbing incident occurred.

Armed police were summoned to the Cambridgeshire station around 7.40pm.

Two individuals have been arrested following the incident which resulted in ten people being hospitalised, nine of whom sustained life-altering injuries.

Eyewitness accounts are now beginning to paint a chilling picture of the events.

One witness, Olly Foster, who was travelling on the train between Doncaster and London King's Cross, initially thought the attack was a Halloween prank. Speaking to the BBC , Mr Foster recounted hearing shouts of "run, run, there's a guy literally stabbing everyone", and initially believed it might be a Halloween-related prank.
