Halloween night in Calgary was marked by a trio of vehicle-pedestrian collisions, two of which were hit-and-runs.

And the trend continued Saturday with a crash that left a woman seriously injured.

The first occurred at 9:15 p.m. on Friday at 16 Tuscany Ridge Pl. N.W. when an adult was struck by a vehicle, suffering minor injuries.

Police said the driver of the vehicle failed to remain at the scene.

About 40 minutes later, another hit-and-run crash occurred at 52nd Street and Rundlehorn Drive N.E. when a man operating a scooter was struck by a vehicle.

The victim suffered minor injuries, police said.

Just before midnight, a woman was struck by a vehicle at 1940 9th Ave. S.E., suffering minor injuries.
