New Delhi, Nov 2 (UNI) Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi today expressed shock and deep concern over the severe air pollution in Delhi, issuing an urgent appeal for coordinated action from both the central and state governments.

In a social media post on X, she stressed the immediate need to intervene and mitigate the toxic air crisis, which disproportionately impacts vulnerable groups like children, senior citizens, and those with respiratory issues.

“The pollution enveloping this city is like a grey shroud thrown over it,” Gandhi stated, calling for unity. “It’s really about time all of us get together, regardless of our political compulsions, and do something about it.”
