In theory, NFL teams make use of the bye week to get healthy, with the rest of a week off helping their bodies recover from the carnage of life in the NFL. For the Seattle Seahawks, though, the bye week appears to have done the exact opposite.
Specifically, at the receiver position, the Seahawks are set to take to the field on Sunday Night Football against the Washington Commanders without either of their fourth or fifth wide receivers, both of whom play key roles on special teams. Dareke Young was injured in the Week 7 win over the Houston Texans, while Jake Bobo suffered an Achilles injury during practice this week, and both were ruled out when the team released the final injury report Friday.
