The Seattle Seahawks completely dominated the first half of the Week 9 Sunday Night Football matchup against the Washington Commanders, with almost everything going their way.

Of the things that did not go their way, injuries to a pair of key members of the starting defense perhaps the most easy to point to.

Specifically, cornerback Josh Jobe suffered a concussion on a helmet-to-helmet hit from fellow defensive back Ty Okada, and was later ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Then, just before the half linebacker Ernest Jones got his leg rolled up, which preceded a trip into the blue medical tent, and Jones has now also been ruled out.
