CINCINNATI —

A person has died after a shooting overnight in Carthage, Cincinnati police confirmed Sunday morning.

Witnesses who were returning from an overnight party tell WLWT they heard gunshots around 1:30 a.m.

Blocks away, police are investigating a second shooting that left two people injured. It happened at the Speedway gas station on Vine and East North Bend.

It is believed the incidents are related.

Police have not identified any of the victims. Officials have also not released any suspect information.
