Police on have arrested two drug peddlers in separate operations and recovered contraband substances from their possession.

A Spokesperson said that a police party of Police Post Keegam at a checkpoint established at Marhenz Chowk, arrested a drug peddler identified as Zubair Ahmad Dar resident of Sunsamil Pulwama. During search, 500 grams of Charas was recovered from his possession.

In a separate incident at Zainapora Nagard Axis, a police party intercepted a drug peddler identified as Suhail Ahmad Dar resident of Wadina Zainapora. During search, 480 grams of charas-like substance was recovered from his possession.

Accordingly, cases under relevant sections of law have been registered at respective police stations and investigations have been initiated.
