FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (WLBT) - Mississippi State snapped it’s over two-year-long losing streak in SEC play on Saturday, defeating the Arkansas Razorbacks in a thriller, 38-35.

The Bulldogs last SEC win dates back to October 21st, 2023 against, guess who, the Arkansas Razorbacks.

The win pushes Mississippi State’s record to 5-4 on the season.

The Bulldogs would get on the scoreboard first in this game after a 12-play, 80-yard drive that was finished off by a eight-yard passing touchdown from Blake Shapen to Davon Booth.

Both teams then exchanged punts to end the first quarter.

At the start of the second quarter, Arkansas found the endzone on a three-yard passing touchdown from Taylen Green to Rohan Jones to tie the game at seven apiece.
